Martin J. Janousek, AIASenior Associate Senior Design Architect
Martin’s concepts have been a driving force behind architecture projects in eastern Nebraska (and around the world) for nearly three decades. He served as design architect for the Cobalt Credit Union corporate headquarters and International Harvester Mississippi Valley Credit Union corporate headquarters, and he currently leads our design team for the iconic, 164-room Blackstone Hotel renovation.
Martin considers it his responsibility to ensure that each client’s vision is reflected in a thoughtful and efficient solution. He has 27 years of experience in conceptual design, site design, design development and contract documents, and has worked worldwide on corporate, commercial, hospitality, public-infrastructure, higher education and healthcare design projects.
Staying active and engaged in the Omaha community, Martin is a past president of the AIA Omaha, a current member of the technical advisory committee for Omaha By Design and a current member of the Omaha Rapid Bus Transit (ORBT) Stakeholders Committee.
