Kimberly R. Cowman, PE, LEED AP, HFDPSenior Associate Senior Mechanical Project Engineer
Kim leads our Omaha healthcare engineering team. During her 17 years in the industry, all of them with LEO A DALY, Kim has led mechanical design for large military and university healthcare campuses and smaller, critical-access hospitals. Her projects include the award-winning Sidney Regional Medical Center and Fort Riley Irwin Army Community Hospital. Clients know her for outstanding engagement with stakeholders, such as surgeons and facility managers, to designing custom solutions that ensure efficient operations and maintenance.
Kim earned the 2019 Outstanding Alumni Award from the Durham School of Architectural Engineering at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. She is a regular guest-lecturer at the University of Nebraska and a mentor to its engineering students. She sits on the Certifications Committee for the American Society of Heating, Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE), and her work continues to help set standards for our engineers firmwide. Kim also doubles as a mother of two kids, ages 2 and 5, and she participates in golf and bowling leagues.
