Healthcare Architects Schulze, Clarke and Abeln join LEO A DALY Minneapolis

The Minneapolis office of international architecture and engineering firm LEO A DALY announces the addition of three key staff members to its healthcare design practice. The appointments strengthen the firm’s ability to provide health and wellness design in the region and nationwide.

  • Elizabeth Schulze, AIA, leads the Minneapolis healthcare team as market sector leader, joining the firm from TSP Inc.
  • Renee Clarke, AIA, serves as senior healthcare architect, joining from CMBA Architects in Sioux City, IA.
  • Daniel Abeln, AIA, serves as healthcare architect, joining from EAPC Architects Engineers.

 Elizabeth Schulze brings twelve years of experience specializing in healthcare, with a reputation for outstanding design and client relationships. She is driven by a passion for community health, and design that improves how people, the environment and community impact the health of individuals. She is also an expert in sustainability as it relates to health (LEED AP BD+C), and a registered architect in Minnesota and South Dakota. She earned her bachelor and masters of architecture from the University of Minnesota.

Renee Clarke has over 20 years of experience in a wide range of healthcare projects, ranging from small renovations to new replacement hospitals. Clarke will leverage her expertise in medical planning and clinic- and hospital-design to benefit the LEO A DALY’s clients. She is a registered architect in Minnesota, Iowa and Nebraska, and earned a masters of architecture from the University of Minnesota.

 Daniel Abeln draws on a wide range of experience that includes project management, design leadership for both architecture and interiors, and architecture on over 120 healthcare projects. A registered architect in Minnesota and Wisconsin, Abeln earned a bachelor of science in environmental design and a masters in architecture from North Dakota State University, as well as a masters of business administration from University of Nebraska – Lincoln.

Schulze, Clarke and Abeln have focused their careers on client service and responsiveness within the healthcare design industry.
