Phan Luc joins LEO A DALY Los Angeles

Healthcare mega-projects expert brings 20 years of design and strategic-planning experience

LEO A DALY has hired Phan Luc, AIA, EDAC, as vice president, project director. Working out of the Los Angeles office, she will be in charge of developing the vision and talent behind large, complex healthcare-design projects.

Luc has over 20 years of healthcare experience domestic and internationally. During that time she has delivered more than seven million square feet of healthcare design across many cultures, and has led efforts in all facets of project development. She joins from HMC architects, where she was a healthcare principal. Other key roles include 10 years at HDR, where she led the 5.3-million square-foot Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi project, and eight years at HOK.  She also has strong expertise in design-build and a advocate in LEAN concepts in design and construction.

“Phan is a brilliant architect with a rare expertise in leading mega-projects. Her ability to guide clients and design teams through complex, critical decisions will be a huge asset to our practice,” said Roy Follmuth, PE, managing principal of the Los Angeles office.

LEO A DALY Los Angeles is currently involved in several significant healthcare projects in the region, including designs for the VA West Los Angeles Medical Center, Cedars-Sinai, UCLA, and USC.
