Three Designers join LEO A DALY Minneapolis

Strategic hires reflect growth in healthcare and commercial design
The Minneapolis office of LEO A DALY is pleased to announce the hire of Daniel Yudchitz, AIA, LEED AP BD+C; Claire Monette-Weil, and Namdi Alexander. The three design professionals bring a combined 31 years of architecture and interior-design experience.
Senior Architect Dan Yudchitz, AIA, LEED AB BD+C brings 15 years of architecture experience, and specializes in public and institutional projects with a strong focus on sustainability and high-performance design at multiple scales. Yudchitz received a Bachelor of Fine Arts with an Industrial Design concentration from University of Wisconsin-Stout, and a Master of Architecture degree from the University of Minnesota. Prior to joining LEO A DALY, he served as senior associate at HGA and began his career working for his father at Revelations Architects/Builders in Stevens Point, Wis. He is active at the University of Minnesota as a Mentor and Design Critic and serves as co-chair elect of the Architecture Minnesota Magazine Committee.
Claire Monette-Weil joins the interior design team after working in Chicago for 11 years at NELSON and most recently at Wright Heerema Architects. Monette-Weil earned a Bachelor of Science in Interior Design from Mississippi State University – College of Architecture, Art and Design. Her career has focused on creating interior environments for commercial and healthcare clients. She has an extensive portfolio of interiors work, ranging from ambulatory clinics to corporate headquarters and high-rise building repositioning projects.
Designer Namdi Alexander joins the architecture team with a passion for design and community involvement. His experience includes multifamily housing, historic preservation and adaptive reuse, and government projects. Alexander received his Bachelor of Science in Architecture and Master of Architecture degrees from the University of Minnesota. He joins us from BKV where he worked as Intern and Architectural Designer for five years. Prior to that he was a teaching assistant and workshop assistant at the University of Minnesota.
