West Palm Beach Designers Win Habitat for Humanity / AEC Trendsetters Challenge
November 14, 2016
Habitat for Humanity of Palm Beach County and AEC Trendsetters recently joined forces in creating the first annual Habitat for Humanity Design Challenge. Members of AEC Trendsetters collaborated as teams to create new home designs for the local Habitat for Humanity. They designed a one-story home with a four-bedroom and two-bath floor plan.
LEO A DALY’s Paula Williams and Moses Poissant, and Clinton Williams of Civil Design Inc., won the challenge. Their home design has an open, modern concept – a break from the more traditional floor plan Habitat for Humanity has typically used. Though the design is more contemporary, it is still straightforward enough that volunteers will be able to design it without a great deal of guidance.
