Director of Operations
Avery has over 32 years of professional experience successfully managing design and implementation of the Quality Assurance plan. He reviews all designs, plans, specifications, and reports prior to issuance at all phases of the project. He is experienced in public and private institutions, master planning and design of government/commercial/corporate facilities, research, administrative and development facilities, and recreational/performing/cultural arts facilities.
Tony Pascocello, AIA, NCARB, LEED AP, LC
Director of Design
Tony Pascocello has over 18 years of experience as an architect and architectural lighting designer in the United States, Middle East, and Asia. He has held senior architectural design roles on numerous prominent transportation projects, including the Hamad International Airport in Doha, Qatar, Lester B. Pearson International Airport in Toronto and Penn Station Redevelopment Project, which was exhibited at the Museum of Modern Art, Columbia University, Cooper Union New York, and the Canadian Center for Architecture. Tony designed the architectural lighting for two of the 10 tallest buildings in 2015, Shanghai Tower and Abu Dhabi National Oil Company Headquarters.

Ed has been with LEO A DALY since his retirement from the US Air Force in 2008. He has over 26 years of active duty experience in the US Air Force as a civil engineer, culminating in three successive positions as the Base Civil Engineer and Fire Marshall, and has a diverse background in architecture/design, construction management, force protection, and physical plant operations. His extensive experience includes the management of a multitude of base level engineering projects, from small Sustainment Restoration & Modernization (SR&M) work to large MILCON facility alteration/construction.

Les leads the firm’s Atlanta healthcare team with a focus on consensus-driven planning and a commitment to each client’s needs, budget, design, and schedule. With almost 40 years’ experience, Les has worked on award-winning healthcare facilities for over 300 clients in 32 states and on 5 continents. He has spoken extensively around the country on various topics in healthcare and campus planning and has contributed to numerous publications. With five years of experience in a client role as the director of capital planning for a major academic and research institution, he is exceptionally qualified to perceive problems and solutions from the viewpoints of both the designer and the owner.
Michael D. Svoboda, AIA

Mike is a registered architect with 30 years of experience, specializing in the federal client. He has performed program management, architecture, and planning for a wide range of new, renovation and expansion projects for the Department of Defense and other federal/government clients. As the technical leader in integration of scientific technologies, Mike brings over 30 years of experience designing transitional research laboratories as well as a deep understanding of different modalities utilized in today’s lab and healthcare institutions. He has successfully directed numerous laboratory designs focused on producing functional, flexible laboratory modules that are easily transformed to meet the ever-changing needs of staff, while being fiscally responsive to clients’ budgetary constraints.
Mike has over 25 years experience in planning and designing biomedical research laboratories and associated support facilities, that include BSL-2 and 3 facilities; over 20 years of experience in the planning and design of biomedical research laboratories and associated support facilities, that include BSL-2, 3 and 4 facilities; and over 15 years of experience in planning and designing vivarium and vivarium support facilities for small and large species that include non-human primates in ABSL-2, 3 and 4 facilities.
