Mr. Ubbelohde joined the company following a distinguished 26-year career with the U.S. Army as a Corps of Engineers commissioned officer. His most recent assignment was District Engineer for the Gulf Region's Northern District in Mosul, Iraq, where he executed a design and construction program totaling over $2.4 billion. Previously, he served as the District Engineer for the Corps' Omaha District, with an annual budget of $500 million and a workforce of over 1,200 civilian and military personnel operating in nine upper Midwest states.
He also served as the Construction Division Chief for the U.S. Army in Europe as a Battalion Commander of the Corps' only Prime Power Engineer Battalion with missions worldwide, and as a Nuclear Operations Officer at the Pentagon.

Mr. Ubbelohde achieved a Bachelor of Science from the United States Military Academy, West Point, Master of Science in Physics from the University of California, San Diego and a Master of Arts in Strategic Studies from U.S. Army War College. >
