LEO A DALY Promotes Ignacio J. Reyes to Corporate Director of Development

(OMAHA, Neb. – May 24, 2012) International architecture, planning, engineering, interior design and program management firm LEO A DALY has promoted Ignacio J. Reyes, AIA, LEED BD+C, NCARB, to the new role of corporate director of development.
As part of the Leo A Daly senior leadership team, Reyes will provide oversight and leadership for strategic pursuits in key markets including higher education, science and technology, senior living and Native American programs. He also will assist with business development training and coaching.
"Ignacio’s dynamic leadership style, project management experience and excellent presentation skills make him a perfect fit for this new role,” said Charles Dalluge, Assoc. AIA, LEED AP, executive vice president of Leo A Daly. “He will be an asset to building strong leaders within the firm, as well as building relationships with existing and potential clients.”
Prior to joining the corporate team, Reyes served as principal and regional director of business development at the Florida offices of Leo A Daly, where he led strategic planning, project presentation skills training, and local marketing and public relations efforts for the firm. Previously, he was a senior associate and project associate at STH Architectural Group, Inc. which was acquired by Leo A Daly in 2009.
Reyes earned an Associate of Arts degree from Broward College and continued his studies at Florida A&M University, graduating magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts degree in architecture. He completed his fifth-year thesis at Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University.
He has served in a variety of leadership and volunteer roles, including past president of the American Institute of Architects (AIA) Palm Beach Chapter, and has been a featured speaker for the Florida Education Facilities Planners Association, the Urban Land Institute, the Society for Marketing Professional Services and the Construction Association of South Florida.
He is a recipient of several professional awards including the Broward College 2010 Distinguished Alumni of the Year Award, the AIA Palm Beach Chapter 2011 Hilliard T. Smith Architectural Community Service Award, the 2008 John T. Stetson Service Award, and the 2006 South Florida Business Journal Top “Up and Comer” Award.
