Burlington Public Library
The City of Burlington recently expanded library services to a new structure on a downtown site with views of the Mississippi River. Local red brick, red Indian limestone, and slate shingles were chosen to complement and energize the historic architectural language of Burlington. The interior features natural wood trusses and views of the river. The 50,000-SF facility includes a coffee shop, genealogy section, meeting rooms, gift shop, public computers, teen area, and story time room, in addition to adult and youth services. Technology is well integrated into the facility and includes a wireless network, self-checkout, and centralized printing.

"We think it is awesome and that you and all the LEO A DALY folks have done a beautiful job. Thanks to all of you. You should also know that the general contractor has told me that your firm was the best architectural firm he has ever worked with. Questions answered promptly, people who knew what they were doing and who were pleasant to work with. Thanks again."
