Airport Terminal Renovations & Additions

Chattanooga, Tennessee

Chattanooga Metropolitan Airport is experiencing a major increase in demand due to its proximity to the expanding Atlanta metro area. To meet its goals for future airport growth, LEO A DALY developed a master plan, and designed renovations to the existing terminal, as well as a new 600- to 800-car parking structure.

The plan for future expansion integrates a railway terminal, as well as expanded roadways, parking, and terminal and concourse expansion. Renovations and additions to the existing terminal include TSA security checkpoint expansion, and a restaurant modification to make food service available airside. The parking structure design allows for future expansion and the addition of rental car facilities. All construction work was planned to meet immediate needs while allowing the airport to function normally.
