Colorado Springs Marriott

Colorado Springs, Colorado

At the base of the Rocky Mountains, Colorado Springs wows thousands of visitors yearly with its breathtaking mountain views. To reconnect the Colorado Springs Marriott with its beautiful natural environment, LEO A DALY updated its public areas to correspond with new Marriott standards.

The renovated lobby is all about that connection to nature. A rich palette of earth tones, wood and iron finishes brings the colors and textures of the mountains into the hotel, capitalizing on the surrounding natural environment. We also removed bulky partitions and obtrusive dividers so guests could enjoy the lobby’s grand views of Pike’s Peak.

Flexible seating and communal tables were introduced for individuals and groups to work or relax with a game of chess while enjoying the mountain view. The result bridges the gap between the leisure and business traveler, accommodating both groups without leisure travelers feeling they are part of a convention.

Opening up the lobby also transformed it into a more functional space and a vital element of the Colorado Springs Marriott’s guest experience.
