Aviation Maintenance Training Facility
Council Bluffs, Iowa
The Aviation Maintenance Training Facility includes a 16,000-SF aircraft maintenance hangar for general aviation aircraft. The swept-wing design reflects the aviation industry and establishes a futuristic image for the airport and the program. Classrooms and administrative areas are provided for 125 students and faculty and include a break room, media room, conference and office areas, and flight simulator training. The comprehensive maintenance facility includes labs for engine mechanics, welding shops, painting booths, avionics repair and general aviation maintenance for aircraft including helicopter, jet and propeller aircraft.
