Las Vegas, Nevada
The Las Vegas MGM Grand opened three hip venues: Shibuya, Diego and Teatro Bar.
Shibuya captures the essence of modern Tokyo, while retaining Japanese elegance. It includes a 50-foot sushi bar and main dining room that resembles an illuminated glass cube. Diego embraces Mexico's vivid colors with traditional elements such as wood, copper and terra cotta. A whimsical projection of animated dancing fruit and plants add vibrancy. Two vertical conveyor belts frame the bar, systematically rotating Diego's vast tequila selection. Teatro features a futuristic, pod-shaped bar lined with a wall of bottles behind which flicker images of flames and female silhouettes.
