Mille Lacs Health System, Phase II and III, Hospital and Clinic Remodel

Onamia, Minnesota

Mille Lacs Health System (LMHS) is a community-owned, non-profit organization, caring for its community for over 50 years. The campus in Onamia is comprised of a hospital, clinic, nursing home, and assisted living facility. Leo A Daly helped LMHS continue its commitment to their mission of achieving and maintaining optimal healthcare for their community,

The Leo A Daly healthcare team worked with MLSH to implement a multi-phased master plan. Phase I was a 12,500-SF interior build-out for the lower level of the assisted living facility to house the hospital's IT, business office and medical records departments.

The scope of Phase II was to backfill the vacated areas of the hospital created by Phase I, allowing the much needed relocation and expansion of the pharmacy, outpatient servicesĀ and additional administration offices.

Phase III consisted of the renovation of the clinic which included the design of additional staff support space, additional exam rooms and a procedure room in an area vacated by Phase I. A complete remodel and expansion of the existing nurse station and new finishes throughout the existing clinic completed this phase. The clinic remained operational during construction of this phase.
