Renovation included the main lobby, common areas on all floors, elevators, restrooms, a new fitness facility, and over 150,000-SF of office space tenant fit-outs for three federal agencies. Architectural design scope involved the creation and coordination of floor plans, reflected ceiling plans, finish plans, and data and communications layout plans per tenant programmatic requirements. The project encompassed open and closed office layout planning with reception area, conference rooms, and employee break rooms. Standard counter and cabinetry millwork details and plastic laminate finishes were provided for pantry, kitchenette, and mail room installations. System workstations and furniture layout plans for design development space planning purposes were provided based upon tenant-provided guidelines, including sustainable design guidance and support to meet the requirements of LEED for Commercial Interiors (LEED-CI) certification.
