The Hotel Indigo is a new boutique lifestyle brand created by InterContinental Hotels Group focused on middle market consumers looking for improved quality and value. The brand primarily converts buildings in urban locations.
We provided architectural, structural and construction phase services for the conversion of the historic Carlton Hotel to the first Hotel Indigo. Achieving historic tax credits were paramount in creating a new floor plan, new fire stair, small addition, interior finishes, masonry restoration and a modern building .
The Carlton Hotel is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and has 140 guestrooms, meeting space and a restaurant with an outdoor dining terrace.
