We provided design services for this new $4 million community medical building. Working through a design-build arrangement with HCB Contractors, it was delivered in an accelerated time frame.
The center includes internal medicine, obstetrics and gynecology, pediatrics and family medicine clinics. Diagnostic and support areas include radiology, pharmacy, laboratory, medical records and administration. Functional spaces are organized around a central atrium to simplify patient orientation and maintain patient dignity. A children's waiting area was subdivided from the adult area by a curved mural wall created by our designers.
The heavily wooded, sloping site dictated use of a split-level structure with roads and parking carefully placed to preserve topography and vegetation.
