Leo A Daly served as architect of record and design team manager. Our goal was to implement the project as shown in bridging documents, on schedule and within budget.
Working with the structural engineer, we introduced innovative structural and exterior cladding system changes that resulted in savings for the client. The structure was revised to a simple concrete shear wall system, along with an exterior skin change from cast-in-place architectural concrete to architectural precast concrete panels. These changes were made without affecting the floor plan layouts and reduced the construction timeline, resulting in a project completed ahead of schedule.
