When United Way of Greater Los Angeles decided to consolidate and relocate its downtown Los Angeles operations, Leo A Daly was asked to provide a full array of programming, space planning, and interior design services.
Leo A Daly worked closely with a team of brokers to consider multiple locations. The non-profit organization, concerned about all aspects of the community, selected a LEED® Gold building.
The interior design reflects the company’s mission statement, "Creating Pathways Out of Poverty". This is achieved through architectural ceiling elements and carpet patterns symbolizing paths leading to the perimeter glazing and out to views of the Los Angeles skyline.
The open plan space with offices on the core allowed the 120 employee organization to take full advantage of daylight and city views. The subtle use of color and texture provides an inviting space for visitors and employees.
