Leo A Daly is working with the city of Sterling to program and renovate the city’s 80-year-old Coliseum Building. Once the city’s center of social activity, the facility is now the center of civic activity, housing the City Hall and Police Department. The re-purposed “Coliseum” will be designed to accommodate city administrative functions and include a significant renovation to the police department already located in the lower level of the building. The renovation will allow for a more efficient use of city staff, provide a clear point of transaction for daily city business as well as a new and accessible council chambers. The renovation re-presents the ‘coliseum’, presently unused, as an integral part of the civic life of Sterling.>
