Salt River DEVCO is cooperating with the Salt River Tribal Council to develop a technology incubator capable of growing into a complete research campus. We designed a four-phase master plan for a practical and sustainable development in the Salt River Pima-Maricopa Indian Community.
Phase I includes two wet and two dry labs linked by bridges, and a 250-room hotel conference center. Remaining phases include lab and office space, and provide a build-out of 1.25 million SF.
Our goal was to provide a design that reflected the arid, green desert punctuated by mountains. Materials include pre-cast concrete, custom curtain wall systems with metal panels and louvers and the use of clerestory and skylight glazing.
